Microprocessor automatic switching

Microprocessor automatic switching includes all the functions of traditional automatic switching on the railroad transport, and also new functions on the basis of advanced informational technologies, and is developed for a combined work with existing relay and microprocessor automatic switching systems without bringing in changes into its algorithms.

Microprocessor automatic switching is used for:

  • Organization of monitoring and/or control of train sorting management when dispatcher device working places are organized, transferred or modernized;
  • Organization of state control of signalization, interlocking and blocking devices of automatic switching, when the system of supervisory control are organized;
  • Information transmission about the state of automatic switching devices to upper or neighboring systems at a real time scale.


Functions executed by microprocessor automatic switching

Dialog information:

  • Information representing and cooperation of operational personnel with microprocessor automatic switching;
  • Cooperation with other informational and control systems (telemechanics, power saving, microprocessor centralized traffic control, automatic control system of freight transport of Ukrzaliznitsa and etc.).


Monitoring of a current train situation at a hump:

  • Model monitoring of train location at a hump;
  • Motion monitoring of a cut (Cut number, set route of sorting);
  • Monitoring of hump track filling;
  • Analysis of formed trains.


Control and state monitoring of railroad automation and telemechanics system objects:

  • telesignalization;
  • telecontrol;
  • automatic control of automatic switching devices (together with other subsystems).


Task recording:

  • Control action of operational personnel fixation;
  • Hump train situation fixation;
  • Malfunctions of microprocessor automatic switching control devices fixation;
  • Fixation of operational check results and system diagnosis of prime load and at system restoration after malfunctions.


Monitoring of a current train situation at a hump:

  • Sustaining of reliability parameters of technical devices at a determined level and control of railroad automation and telemechanics systems;
  • Sustaining of authenticity parameters of information at a determined level;
  • Monitoring of microprocessor automation switching proper functioning;
  • Alarming of device malfunctions of automatic switching and microprocessor automatic switching.
