Microprocessor automatic blocking allows to increase the speed of railroad traffic at main sections of railroads and to increase capacity of stations with the required traffic security.
The system is designed for mono-track or double-track and multi-track sections of railroads, which are equipped with electric traction systems of DC or AC, as well as autonomous tractions, the sections with centralized power supply of passenger cars, sections of locomotive circulation and motorcar rolling-stock with impulse regulation of traction engines, lines of high speed, newly built or modernized tracks. The system equipment is placed in a centralized way at posts of power interlocking system, limiting spans, and on a span in road and transformation boxes.
Basic advantages of the system
Increasing of reliability due to:
- Reservation of basic system units;
- Implementation of more reliable element base;
- Reduction of element number of the system, including costs signalling cables.
Increasing the efficiency coefficient due to:
- Usage of duplicating channel for information transmission to locomotive and from it;
- Opportunity to reconfigure the system structure in case of malfunctions of any separate unit;
- Building of a reserve power supply system.
Increasing of railroad traffic security due to:
- Usage of additional coding of signals in rail circuits in order to exclude the mutual influence;
- Usage of passing the span by train logic;
- Opportunity to influence on a span devices (turning on the prohibitive signals, etc.) from the part of the assistant station-master or dispatcher in order to guard off or speed limitation in the zone of work fulfillment and etc.
Decreasing of capital and operational costs due to:
- Implementation of a small number of unified blocks with socket cutoff point with a minimal number of interblock connections;
- Reduction of external dimension of devices up to 3 times;
- Reduction of expenditures for signaling and blocking cables up to 30-50%;
- Opportunity of automatic dimension of system parameters with running of electronic records of measurements by the engineer on duty of a division of signaling and communication.
